This Was Too Cool!!
I had a great chat with Dave Sheridan, who played Doofy in the first “Scary Movie”, and gave him a copy of “SuperhorrorMax”.
Last year, Dave had been in Doofy’s deputy costume from scary movie. He was next to his great friend, Felissa Rose from “Sleepaway Camp” as usual.
Well, it was someone’s birthday and Felissa grabbed Dave to do a pic with both of them.
Then, we all started singing happy birthday to the young woman. I assume a friend of a friend.
But what is hilarious is afterwards, Dave, as Doofy, went into a brilliant impromptu song, which was stupidly naughty about coming out of their mother’s…well, you can guess the rest.
I saw someone filming and hoped they’d post it, but no.
This year, I asked to see if anyone else had gotten a copy, but not even Mr. Sheridan did.
Well, if you ever get a chance, go see him at a Con.
Great dude.
And Felissa Rose who is really nice.

Capital City Comic Con 2025
Met Garrett Wang, who played Harry Kim on “Star Trek Voyager”, and a hilarious episode of “Lower Decks”.
Really, really nice dude, who told myself and a few others in line a funny story about his podcast.
He was doing it with Robert Duncan McNeill, aka Robbie, who played Tom Paris.
Robbie was talking about how they got a bottle of wine one year as a gift and Garrett couldn’t remember it. So, they decided to call some people and Garrett tried Robert Beltran (Chakotay) and Tim Ross (Tuvok). No dice.
Then Robbie tried Bob Ricardo who answered while he was on a mountain bike biking and I was like oh yes, of course we got wine.
And then Ricardo proceeded to crash on his bike. He was OK, but had hurt his butt cheek.
Robbie and Garrett, of course said ‘please please please let us use that in the podcast’, and Bob agreed.
However, several years later, Bob told Garrett—with slight annoyance—that for years after, people at conventions would ask if his wounded rear was all right.
I admit, I was reluctant to start using AI for the longest time.
Probably this was partly due to solidarity with artists who were deeply concerned about it. And rightfully so.
If you’re using AI to copy someone else’s work then that’s a jerk thing to do. Especially if you’re twisting their work Making it seem like the artist is saying things that they would never agree with or support.
But, I’m starting to think it’s more like a chainsaw.
A chainsaw can be used for good and ill means.
Where I started using it…
well, I should start and talk about how I make pictures. You see, I usually look through Adobe stock photos to find something that is exactly what I’m looking for or at least kind of close, but that hasn’t always worked and I’ve spent more than a few hours, a futility searching for something. Many, many hours.
But sometimes I just can’t find what I need..
So I decided to try AI. And it actually worked. You see I needed a butler that had a Tux, and looks like an older gentleman. But I couldn’t find anything on Adobe stock. In desperation I tried the AI and it worked.
That I needed a pair of legs sticking out that looks like they were from a police officer, to be sticking out of the mouth of a monster. Again, couldn’t find it in Adobe stock.
And here’s the final product.
